IronVeil
A co-op shooter where the screen does the talking. No mic needed, ever.
IronVeil is a co-op tactical game. It is still in development. The planned price is $15, bought once. A browser version, iOS and Android are planned.
A 1-4 player co-op hero shooter where the screen does the talking. Prime a construct with one specialist's element, detonate it with another's, and read every callout, threat and revive off the HUD. Start solo with a companion who fights beside you. No mic needed, ever.
We email you once, on release, and never again. IronVeil cannot be bought yet — nothing is charged and no account is needed.
You know the mechanics. You have never cleared the raid.
You have studied the guides. You know when to split, when to stack, when to swap. And you have never finished a run, because the run is gated behind a social ritual: find strangers, survive their judgment, talk the whole time. If you cannot use a mic, whether you are mute, anxious, playing at 2am or working in a second language, the group finder excludes you before the first wipe.
IronVeil is the co-op shooter built for you.
The screen is the coordination layer
Every comms line renders as a subtitle. Threats get their own band at the top of the screen so nothing overlaps them. A primed construct shows a billboard over its head that says what will detonate it. The target under your crosshair has a name, a health bar and its status chips. Readiness syncs across the squad without anyone saying "ready". The kill feed tells you who took the shot and with what.
Prime. Detonate. Chain.
Five specialists carry five elements. Frost freezes. Ember ignites. Rampart exposes. Flux amplifies. Specter corrodes. Land them on the same construct in sequence and the combo fires: shatter, meltdown, overload, cascade, vaporize. Nobody calls it. The billboard over the target already told you. Keep going and you will find combos the manual never listed, and chains that turn three detonations into one.
Playable alone at 11pm
Solo start works. Your companion fights, takes fire, walks to you when you go down and picks you back up. No lobby, no waiting, no explaining yourself. When friends are online, up to four of you read the same field at the same time.
Real places, torn open
Reality is fracturing at real-world sites: a Mediterranean coastal town, an industrial power station, an underground server farm, a collapsed research facility, the docks of Lagos, a corporate tower and its spire, an abandoned refinery, an arctic station. Constructs come through. You are the field team the corporation sends in, and your handler only speaks when it matters.
What’s included
- No-mic squad coordination: readiness, threats, primed targets and callouts carried entirely by what the screen shows you.
- Subtitles for every comms line, with separate toggles for combat, comms and notifications.
- Combo billboards: a primed construct tells the whole squad what detonates it.
- Solo start with a companion who fights, takes fire and revives you.
- 1-4 player online co-op, plus an endless horde mode.
- Five specialists, each with a signature weapon, three abilities, an ultimate, a talent tree and gear.
- An adaptive director that scales enemy pressure to how your squad is actually doing, across five difficulty tiers.
- Colour-blind modes, HUD scaling, high-contrast HUD and screen-shake reduction in the base settings, not a bolt-on.
