LASTLETTER starts where a daily word puzzle ends. Solve today's five-letter word — same word for everyone, six guesses, green/yellow/grey — and you get the definition, the streak, and a one-tap emoji grid to share. Then keep going.
Classic (daily) — free. One five-letter word a day, seeded so the whole world plays the same board. Six guesses. Post-solve you get the definition, not just a win screen.
Sprint — free. Three minutes, solve as many as you can. Unlocks after your first Classic win. No daily limit, no waiting until tomorrow.
Chain — $2, first 3 plays free. The mode the game is named for: the last letter of the word you just solved is the first letter of the next one. Four tries per word, lengths from four to seven letters. How far does the chain go before it breaks? Appears after 3 games.
Vocabulary Builder — $2, first 3 plays free. SAT/GRE words with spaced repetition: the words you miss come back sooner, the ones you know come back later. Appears after 10 games.
