Privacy Policy for Inlet Apps
Last updated September 7, 2026
The short version: the Inlet utility apps for iPhone (Safe Auth, Strobe Tuner, Signal Lab, Subscription Guard, Structural Calc, Voice Memo, Med Refill, Pure Sleep, EXIF Wipe, PDF Slim and the rest of the family) work without an account and keep everything on your device. We do not collect, upload, sell or share your data. There are no third-party analytics and no ads.
What stays on your device
- Your entries (authenticator secrets, passwords, subscriptions, medications, measurements, memos, sleep logs) are stored only on your phone, encrypted with AES-256-GCM under a key generated on the device and protected by iOS data protection. The key never leaves the device and cannot be derived from the app.
- Microphone (Strobe Tuner, Signal Lab, Voice Memo): audio is processed on the device in real time. Strobe Tuner and Signal Lab never record; Voice Memo stores recordings encrypted on the device only. Nothing is transmitted.
- Photos and files (EXIF Wipe, PDF Slim, Smart Lens, Deep Scan): only the file you pick is read; output is written where you choose. No copies are uploaded.
- Notifications (Med Refill): reminders are scheduled locally by iOS on your phone.
What we receive
Nothing from the apps themselves. If you buy a Pro upgrade, Apple processes the purchase; we receive only Apple's anonymous transaction record needed to honour it. We do not receive your name, email or payment details.
What we do not do
- No accounts, no sign-in, no cloud sync.
- No analytics, tracking or advertising SDKs.
- No selling or sharing of data, because we have none.
Deleting your data
Delete the app. Its data is stored inside the app's own container and is removed with it.
Children
The apps are general-purpose utilities and are not directed at children.
Changes and contact
If a future version ever changes what stays on the device, this page and the App Store listing will say so first. Questions: inlet.games/support.
